About the Club

We are a SwimMark accredited club catering for swimmers who have completed the Learn to Swim Stage 7 program progressing through our squads to achieve the qualifiying standards to compete at county and regional galas.

Our goal is to support and encourage swimmers to swim for fitness, to improve and progress in the sport of competitive swimming.

The aim of Thetford Dolphins is to encourage, teach and instill confidence in all our swimmers whilst retaining a strong focus on safety and well being. Training takes place at Breckland Leisure Centre & Waterworld on Croxton Road, Thetford six days a week.

Our swimmers compete at galas in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire as well as our own Nifty 50's open meet which is held annually in September, mini galas, and our annual Club Championships competition which is held annually in October.
